My name is Rae Michienzi and I have been dancing since I was two years old. I am trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, African and Musical Theater.
I am selling my handmade Tap Totes to raise money to help support my continuing tap education. This summer I have been accepted to attend the pre-professional program at Tap City in NYC and Tap Kids Summer Intensive in Vermont!
For the past two summers, I have attended the pre-professional residency program and studied with instructors Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Michelle Dorrance respectively. Through this program I was able to perform at Symphony Space, Winter Gardens and Times Square! This year i will train with Lisa LaTouche.
This will be my first year attending the Tap Kids Summer Intensive. I was invited to audition by the founder of this program and I am very excited to attend this summer.
I have also trained with master teachers such as Chloe Arnold, Derick Grant, Jason Samuels Smith, Barbara Duffy, Brenda Bufalino, Aaron Tolson and many more!
